Dussehra, the festival to commemorate the victory of good over evil, was celebrated in school with a lot of zeal and fervour. The program began with a message on its religious significance.
Students enthralled the entire audience with their vocal and synchronized instrumental recital of Sri Rama Stuti. Glimpses from the Ramayana came alive through a play staged with great ardor.
The virtuoso dancers depicted Goddess Durga battling and emerging victorious over the buffalo demon Mahishasura to help restore Dharma. Garba the traditional dance form was performed in customary attire. The program also highlighted the importance of celebrating festivals and being well acquainted with our culture and tradition.
