Independence Day 2018

National Public Rajajinagar, Bengaluru, celebrated the nation's 72nd Independence Day on August 15, 2018 with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The morning prayer was followed by a flag hoisting ceremony by the Principals. The students of Grade 9 presented a variety program that included speeches in Hindi, Sanskrit and English that kindled pride and commitment towards the nation. Arya of KGII delivered a speech highlighting the importance of the day, to rapturous applause. Self-composed poems, a medley of patriotic songs, a skit and dance added range and spirit to the program. A lively quiz tested the awareness of students about the freedom struggle. The day’s events concluded with a pledge that we would serve our motherland with dignity.
