"Courage
to start and willingness to keep everlasting at it are the requisites
for success". Alonzo Newton Benn. A sure truth reflecting the establishment
and growth of NPS - the rise from success to success - the spreading of
its wings far and wide to newer horizons always keeping in mind the most
essential values of education-sincerity,integrity, genuineness and commitment.
Dear students, the first step to success is the need to have a dream,
a vision, a burning passion to achieve. It is necessary that this becomes
one's prime motivator - coupled with enthusiasm, loyalty, hard work and
the willingness to go that extra mile - and you have all the ingredients
for achievement. In order to win one must possess "definiteness of
purpose, the knowledge of what one wants and a burning desire to possess
it" - Napoleon Hill. A successful individual, it is said, typically
sets his next goal somewhat but not too much above his last achievement.
In this way he steadily raises his level of aspiration. Developing a strong
work ethic is a dominant NPS endeavour that has led to the numerous successes
of our students.
"There are magic keys to living life with integrity - have the courage
to say no and to face the truth. Do the right thing because it is right
and not because someone is watching. Be yourself - let who you are, what
you are and what you believe, shine through every word and action of yours"
because, all said and done, sincerity and a genuine approach continue
to be much sought after attributes.
As we look into the future, the hopes and expectations live on of upholding
the principles of this majestic institution, of striving to reach higher
levels, of maintaining an environment conducive to the holistic development
of every level of students so they continue to stand high in the global
arena endorsing the ethics and ideals imbibed by their alma mater, of
providing a milieu for devoted and dedicated faculty committed to the
nuances of child centered education and the aim of kindling the spirit
of enquiry in young minds.
