Classes
III and IV presented a programme "Fragrant Blooms" bringing
out the essence of the great culture and heritage of India, depicting
qualities
like tolerance and love for one another with happiness being the
highlight of people's lives.
The children took each one of the audience to a cultural extravagance
that included the kaikottikali and kalaripayatu from Kerala, the
Kolatta, veergase, kamsale kunita, nandikunita and karaga from Karnataka,
the fisherman and ball dance from Goa, Dandiya from Gujarat, bhangra
from Punjab, bharatanatayam from Tamilnadu , folk dances from Nagaland
and Manipur and a skit on Raksha Bandhan. The vibrant costumes added
beauty to the show, making it a treat to the eye.
