Graduation Day 2015-16

The Class XII students of the batch 2015-16, National Public School, Rajajinagar, had a very memorable day on 23rd January when they participated in a very gracious but solemn graduation ceremony on their school premises. The glorious evening began with a rendition of "Brocheva Revarura" by the students, followed by the customary lighting of the lamp.

Mrs. Sonia Narang - Deputy Inspector General of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, was the honorable chief guest, who in her profound Graduation address, urged the students to achieve their ambitious dreams with a sound mind packed with values and to help contribute to society and the nation at large.

Messages from Dr K P Gopalkrishna, Chairman and Founder, National Public Schools, India & Singapore, NAFL and TISB, Mrs Santhamma Gopalkrishna, Senior Principal and Dr Bindu Hari, Director, stressed on the importance of adherence to values during the journey of life and the need to dream big and reach for the stars. Prof. Jagadeesh, parent of a graduating student gave an appreciative feedback about the school and encouraged the students to strive for excellence.

The School Prefects raised a toast of thanksgiving and took a pledge to adhere to the values imbibed at their Alma Mater. The outgoing students paid a befitting tribute to their parents with their melodious rendition of 'You raise me up'. The school anthem "Shine on us" was sung with fervor. The students were declared graduants by the Principal Mrs Sumitra Das. The evening ended with a sumptuous buffet laid out on the glittering grounds for all to savour.
