The 22nd of January was a very special day in the NPS calendar. The Valedictory for the academic year 2008-09. Throughout the year, the various associations namely the Literary, Science, Math, Cyber and Quiz held numerous competitions that raised the bar for the students to accomplish beyond academics. Orion House were judged winners at the association competitions with Phoenix House walking away with the honors in Sports.
The programme started off with a dance which had a perfect blend of bhava, raga and tala invoking Lord Ganesh. Students, through their dance moves and the invocation exhibited their talents at performing arts. Continuing the tradition, the student government, led by the school prefects, Karthik.K and Priyanka Kamath handed over the school flag in the customary Change of Guard in the presence of the Principal, to the Vice-prefects Ganesh Bhat and Nidhi Ramaraj.
In her address to the students, the Principal, Mrs. Santhamma Gopalkrishna, emphasized the need for making the best use of given opportunities and the importance of co-curricular activities in moulding the students personalities.
National Public School, Rajajinagar celebrated Valedictory Day 2010-2011 in January. Individual effort, teamwork and creative thinking came in for appreciation as the winners of the various Associations were awarded. The program began with a melodious invocation and had a mesmerizing dance performance by the students. The winners of the co-curricular activities, Pegasus House were cheered for their outstanding participation and success in the academic year 2010-2011. The Principal Ms. Santhamma Gopalkrishna addressed the gathering and emphasized on the value of dedication towards every endeavor. The program ended with the ceremonious change of guard symbolizing the handing over of responsibilities to the next student government.
