» Teacher's Day Celebration

The campus at NPS Rajajinagar was abuzz with excitement on Teachers' Day, as the members of the Student Council presented an assembly dedicated to their beloved teachers.

The program commenced with a heartwarming skit, appreciating the role of teachers as friend, philosopher and guide and their significance in moulding the lives of students. This was followed by a dance performed to a beautiful self-composed poem titled 'Teacher, what are you?' expressing awe and gratitude for the different roles a teacher plays in her interaction with students. An adaptation of the song 'Lean on me' was meaningfully rendered by the choir assuring the students that a teacher is very dependable and approachable at all times.

The role of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, as the motivator and a model educationist was duly acknowledged. The Principal, Ms. Sumitra Das in her message, appreciated the faculty members for taking up the noble profession of teaching.

» Prime Minister's Speech

Prime Minister's Interaction with children on the evening of Teacher's Day

The students assembled in the auditorium and came under the Modi spell as they viewed the live telecast of the Prime Minister's interaction with children across the country on Teacher's Day. The students got to listen to the inspiring life experiences of the Prime Minister. The points about Modi Kurtas, being inquisitive, having good oratory skills were appealing. His speech was not just a conversation between students and him, but encouraged the viewers to have an idea about the future of education.

His speech was also coupled with quick and witty anecdotes that provoked laughter from his young audience and made them aware about the role of a teacher in their lives. His charisma and competence was such that all the viewers were glued to the screen; it was indeed an enriching learning experience and a welcome move to transform young minds.
