Environment Day - A Day for Granny Earth


Environment Day 2018 was observed during the morning assembly on the grounds on 5th June 2018, with an impressive presentation by the students of Grade 12. The show began with a song that highlighted the importance of preserving Mother Earth for future generations. Speeches touched upon the advantages and utility of plastic and small steps to keep our surroundings clean. A quiz, a dance and a skit enacted to a poem entitled ‘A Letter to Granny Earth’ brought variety to the program. An on the spot painting by the students added colour as well as highlighted the hazards of indiscriminate use of plastic. The event culminated with a symbolic planting of a sapling by the Principals, thereby reiterating our commitment to a green, clean earth!
