The Day of the Divine – Sanskrit Day

Sanskrit – an ancient language with relevance to the modern world – is one that has found resonance all over the world. To celebrate Sanskrit Day, a program was organised by students of Grades 6 to 12. Recitation of shlokas extolling the language, a poem, a song, speeches and an interesting quiz were presented with élan, highlighting the importance of Sanskrit. An on the spot painting linking Sanskrit to music, art and learning - reiterated its beauty and richness.
