Diwali Celebrations - Grade 5C
The Diwali celebration assembly, held on 6th November at National Public School, Rajajinagar, was a colourful and enlightening event. Grade 5C took charge of presenting the vibrant festival of lights, bringing its significance to life The assembly began with a warm introduction by the narrator who captivated the audience by recalling how Diwali was celebrated in the olden days. This nostalgic account transported everyone back in time, emphasizing the essence and traditions of this festival. This was followed by a beautiful Diwali shloka, creating a serene atmosphere that reflected the spiritual side of Diwali.
A thoughtful message on light triumphing over darkness set the tone, followed by a news segment that bridged tradition with present-day updates.
The audience enjoyed a joyful Diwali song, followed by a segment showcasing Diwali customs across India, where students illustrated how each region adds its own flavour to the celebration. A lively dance performance in traditional attire captured the festival's energy, and everyone joined in a final Diwali song, filling the room with festive cheer. The assembly ended with a reminder of Diwali’s deeper values, spreading happiness and kindness. It was a memorable event that beautifully captured the festival's spirit.
