CurioCity: Annual Market Day Inspires Young Entrepreneurs

National Public School, Rajajinagar’s, much-awaited annual event, CurioCity, brought in excitement and innovation, giving Grade 6 students the opportunity to step into the world of entrepreneurship. This event, held with great enthusiasm, was not only a celebration of creativity but also an empowering learning experience for the students.

CurioCity became more than just a market day – it became a platform for students to build confidence and cultivate an entrepreneurial mind-set. The event provided an opportunity for students to apply what they had learned in the classroom to real-world scenarios, as they took on the roles of young entrepreneurs.

The journey began well before the event itself. Students were tasked with researching eco-friendly products to make and sell. Armed with their knowledge, they developed pitch decks to present their ideas to potential investors, learning first-hand the art of persuasion and business strategy. This hands-on experience not only honed their skills in research and product development but also encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and effective communication.

As CurioCity opened its doors, the atmosphere was alive with energy. The marketplace was filled with a variety of unique products, including hand-crafted keychains, soaps, eco-friendly jute bags, and much more. Students also set up game stalls and food counters, offering delicious treats for visitors to enjoy.

What made CurioCity even more meaningful was its charitable aspect. The profits from the event are directed towards social causes that aligns with the school’s core values.
