Hindi Diwas 2024 – Acknowledging The Heritage of Hindi

Hindi Diwas is a significant day in India, marking the adoption of Hindi in the Devanagari script as one of the country’s official languages. Celebrated annually, this day holds great importance for Indians. In 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India officially recognized Hindi as an official language, appreciated for its simplicity and clarity.

At National Public School, Rajajinagar, the Hindi Diwas celebration featured a program highlighting the Hindi language. The assembly began with a presentation on the historical and cultural significance of Hindi, followed by a humorous skit and a self-composed poem that emphasized the virtues of Hindi.

On this day, we also acknowledge the contributions of Shri Beohar Rajendra Simha, a renowned historian, polyglot, and advocate for Hindi, whose efforts secured official recognition for the language.

In summary, the Hindi Diwas celebration at National Public School, Rajajinagar, was a tribute to the linguistic and cultural diversity of India.
