Celebrating International Yoga Day: Yoga for One Nation


On International Yoga Day, we embraced the theme Yoga for One Health, One Earth celebrating yoga's role in promoting health, unity, and mindfulness. Yoga is not only a practice but a way of life that fosters physical well-being and mental clarity.

Students from Grades 1 to 12 showcased their dedication to yoga. Younger students (Grades 1 to 5) performed coordinated asana formations, while Grades 6 to 12 demonstrated challenging poses like Surya Namaskara, emphasizing yoga's importance for health and focus, particularly for students. The display performance had a narration in the background extolling the virtues of each asana. This was also followed by a quiz and teachers were guided on various Yogic practices that can be easily incorporated in their daily lives.

By incorporating yoga into school routines, our students learn discipline, patience, and perseverance, which aid in both academics and personal growth.
