KG Book Club, 2025-2026

The Kindergarten Book Club Event was held from 9–13 March to spark children’s interest in books and encourage a love for reading. Throughout the week, the young learners brought their favourite books to share with their classmates. Each child had the opportunity to present their book, talk about the characters, plot and explain why they liked the story. These presentations helped build confidence, expand vocabulary and strengthen communication skills. After each reading, the children participated in engaging “after-reading” activities such as discussions, drawing scenes from the story and collaborative tasks that deepened their understanding. The event created a joyful reading environment where children learned from one another while developing early literacy skills. Overall, the Book Club Week successfully promoted curiosity, comprehension and a positive attitude toward reading among the kindergarten students.
