Rajyotsava Kanakadasa Jayanthi
The Kannada Rajyotsava celebration, held on 20th November 2024, at our school, unfolded with immense enthusiasm and fervor. This event was a tribute to the formation of the state of Karnataka, aimed at instilling a sense of pride in our rich heritage and culture among students and staff.
Students from grades 1 to 5 displayed their talents through a variety of captivating cultural performances. The highlights of the event included:
- Traditional Folk Dances: Students mesmerized the audience with dynamic performances of Dollu Kunitha, Kolatta, Hulivesha, and Yakshagana, showcasing the vibrancy and rhythm of Karnataka's traditions.
- Portrayal of Eminent Personalities: Students, dressed as notable figures of Karnataka, symbolized the state's cultural legacy.
- Melodious Folk Songs: Students rendered melodious folk songs, paying homage to the breathtaking beauty and rich heritage of Karnataka.
- The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the teachers and participants for their dedication and efforts. The event fostered unity and a deep respect for the Kannada language and culture, leaving an indelible impression on all present.
