SaPa Workshop 2025
Celebrating rhythm, tradition, and learning
On 28 July, the students of Grades 3 to 6 at National Public School, Rajaji Nagar, participated in an engaging music workshop conducted by the Subramaniam Academy of Performing Arts (SAPA). The session was led by renowned artists Phanindra Bhaskara, an A-graded Mridangam artist and Apoorva Anirudh, A-graded Veena artist.
The workshop highlighted the deep connections between music, and science. Students were introduced to the rhythmic world of Konnakol and took part in an exciting hands-on activity. An interactive Q&A session on the intricacies of the Mridangam and Veena enriched their understanding of Indian classical instruments. Students enthusiastically joined in to sing SaPa songs, adding joy and energy to the session.
