Flag Day And Human Rights Day Assembly

A special assembly to observe Flag Day and Human Rights day was organized on 9th December 2022 in the school auditorium. The program started by welcoming the gathering, followed by enlightening speeches about why we celebrate India’s flag day on 7th December and the World Human Rights day on 10th December every year. Students of grade 9 then performed a street play on two very important topics - Beti bachao, beti padao and Food security for all.

The audience were treated to a musical rendition of the anthem of National Human Rights Commission by the choir of grades 7 & 8 . The energy of the moves on the song ‘Waving flag’ by K’naan, filled the auditorium with the feeling of love and devotion towards our National flag that symbolizes the sacrifices of our soldiers and the rich culture we possess as a nation.

The culmination of the program was an oath taken by the students to respect the rights of all, at all times and stand up to raise their voices opposing any act against humanity.
