R-NPSMUN '23

Amidst an atmosphere brimming with anticipation and enthusiasm, the 7th edition of R-NPSMUN ’23 commenced. The prestigious annual simulation hosted by NPS Rajajinagar for three days from 26th to 28th of June 2023. Nearly 300 delegates, dressed impeccably in formal attire, convened to fulfill their assigned roles.

The event featured a combination of traditional and unconventional committees, comprising the UNSC, UNHRC, DISEC, Lok Sabha and the IPC. Participants from various schools showcased their diplomatic skills, with experienced delegates mentoring newcomers, all driven by the common objective of finding sustainable solutions to global challenges.

The inauguration ceremony commenced with the esteemed presence of our principals, Ms. Malathy Narayan and Ms. Mini Jayan, who graced the occasion by lighting the auspicious lamp. The address by Secretary General, accompanied by an engaging introductory video, garnered enthusiastic applause from the audience.

The entire school premises were adorned for the occasion as delegates engaged in exhilarating debates, making well-considered decisions for humanity, and participating actively in crisis sessions and press conferences, creating a thrilling atmosphere throughout the three-day event.

Following fruitful discussions, new alliances, and resolutions, the committees concluded with outstanding outcomes. The hardworking executive board faced the challenge of determining the winners based on fervent debates and notable statements. Delegates gathered in the auditorium, anxiously awaiting the results. The choir's compelling tunes held the audience captive, adding to the anticipation. The auditorium resonated with a chorus of applause, ovations, and jubilant celebrations as the results were revealed, embodying a remarkable demonstration of camaraderie, dignity, and mutual support among schools and friends. NPS HSR were adjudged the Best Delegation.

The closing video moved everyone present, marking the end of three exciting and stimulating days, which seemed to pass in the blink of an eye. Months of hard work, preparation, and planning contributed to making RNPSMUN'23 one of the most successful events to date.

Under the guidance of the principals, teachers, and MUN advisors, delegates had the opportunity to refine their oratory skills, broaden their understanding of global affairs, and forge new friendships. The event truly embodied the Motto of the school - "Reach Out, Reach High, and Reach Beyond."
