76th Independence Day- Celebrating our Freedom

Embracing the true spirit of Independence, National Public School Rajajinagar celebrated the 76th Independence Day with flourish and enthusiasm on the 15th of August 2023. Inspired by the desire for a deeper connection with our country's history, tradition and culture students of Grade 9 embarked on a cultural extravaganza that enthralled the audience and embodied the spirit of democracy and freedom. The program started with our principals Ms. Malathy R Narayan and Ms. Mini Jayan hoisting the National flag followed by band and march past.

Grade 9 students through their heartwarming and patriotic songs, speeches and dance performances transformed the understanding of Independence Day celebration. They reiterated the fact that it was not just indulging in the cultural festivities but also about accepting, embracing and adopting the core values of freedom.

The day ended with a desire in each one present there to take forward this ongoing journey of freedom towards a world where we would wholeheartedly participate in the democratic process to shape the nation's future. JAI HIND!!!
