Momentum – Annual Sports Meet

On July 19th, 2023, National Public School, Rajajinagar hosted its highly anticipated Annual Sports Meet for Grades 10, 11 and 12. The event was graced by the Guest of Honour Mr. Sachin Belvadi, a National Medalist in Basketball, Nadaprabhu Kempegowda awardee and an Establishment Officer at Raman Research Institute.

The day commenced with a ceremonial guard of honor and the raising of the school flag. The school's sports contingent, comprised of Pegasus, Phoenix, Orion, and Centaur houses, marched in harmony, accompanied by the school's brass band. Principal Ms. Malathy R Narayan’s welcome address acknowledged the collective efforts of teachers and students that led to the Sports Day's success. The school's brass band’s performance was followed by an artistic yoga display narrating the universe’s creation. Further, the audience witnessed captivating displays from every house, each creatively representing one of the five elements—air, water, fire, earth, and space.

Winners of state and national sporting events were honored by Mr. Belvadi. The event's climax featured an exhilarating relay race among the houses. Mr. Belvadi's shared valuable insights during his address, and gave away trophies for best March Past and best display to the Centaur and Phoenix Houses respectively. The program concluded with the vote of thanks and National Anthem.
