World Environment Day (Grades 3-5)


World Environment Day was celebrated by students of classes 3 to 5 on two days.

Students of grade 3 made a collage on the topic: Save Nature.

Students of grade 4 wrote slogans on the topic: Say no to plastic.

Students of grade 5 drew a poster on the topic: Deforestation.

On Thursday, 8 June 2017, a short program was organized in the school auditorium.

A speech by Vishnu Ramesh of Grade 4 A highlighted the need to save trees and a presentation by Ms. Rani J on Sai Sanctuary in Kodagu, Karnataka, helped bring awareness of wildlife and preserving natural resources. The Principal, Ms. Mini Jayan, in her address, reminded the students that nature has to be conserved by planting more trees.
