Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, or National Unity Day, is an annual celebration in India that marks the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. This day is dedicated to honoring Sardar Patel's remarkable contributions to India's struggle for independence and his pivotal role in integrating the fragmented princely states that numbered 562 into a unified nation. His unwavering dedication and exceptional diplomacy that united these states to form the modern Indian nation, exemplify the true essence of unity in diversity.

The importance of this day was commemorated at National Public School, Rajajinagar, with a special assembly. During the assembly, a speech emphasized the significance of preserving this unity, and an oath was administered, with all students and staff pledging to uphold the integrity and sovereignty of the country, following in the footsteps of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and other freedom fighters whose hard work and sacrifices laid the foundation for the India we know today.

This occasion provided the institution with an opportunity to reinforce the ideals of national integration, patriotism, and unity among its staff and students.
