Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign

National Public School, Rajajinagar actively participated in the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign - 2023, an initiative endorsed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This effort coincided with 'Swachh Bharat Diwas,' celebrated on October 2, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, who advocated cleanliness and sanitation.

The school assembly provided a platform for spreading awareness, with a member of the student council delivering an address on the importance of cleanliness and unity. This event brought together students, school officials, and the wider community with a view to enhancing the cleanliness of India.

With Mahatma Gandhi's vision of a cleaner India in mind, students recited a pledge during which they committed to dedicating a hundred hours per year, equivalent to two hours per week, to voluntary work aimed at maintaining cleanliness, a step towards making our country clean.

The students also expressed their perspectives on cleanliness and a better India through their artwork, which emphasized the significance of creating sustainable cities. Sustainable cities, by being self-sufficient, inherently contribute to a cleaner and more environmentally friendly future.

The emphasis on cleanliness and the cultivation of this habit aligns with the institution's overarching vision. The school strives to develop socially responsible, independent learners and leaders who can positively impact and contribute as global citizens.
